2020 Graduation Ceremony

The வாகை சூட்டு விழா 2020 was organised in the historic city of Coventry on Saturday, 11th January 2020 to congratulate and award the toppers in the UK-wide 2019 annual Tamil exam

It was only befitting to have chosen Coventry, the 2021 UK City of Culture, for this highly anticipated event in the UK Tamil student’s calendar. The event was organised by the International Tamil Educational Cultural Scientific Development Federation (ITEC) who also set the Tamil curriculum and conduct the annual Tamil exam.

The highlight for Herts Tamil School was the achievement of two of its students scoring the highest in Year 1 and Year 7. Adding to this list of high achievers was another student from Herts Tamil School who was awarded for scoring more than 90% in the exam. They were left enthused by the showering of medals and certificates for their hard work and highly competitive spirit. Needless to mention for their love of Tamil language.

2020 தைத் திங்கள் பதினொராம் நாள் எமது மகன் வாழ்வில் மட்டுமல்ல எமது வாழ்விலும் மறக்க முடியாத நாள். புலம் பெயர் தேசத்தில் தமிழ் வாழ்வதற்காக அரும்பாடு படும் அமைப்புகளில் ‘அனைத்துலகத் தமிழ்க் கல்வி பண்பாடு அறிவியல் மேம்பாட்டு இணையம்’ (ITEC) முக்கியமான ஒரு நிறுவகம் ஆகும். இவ் இணையம் வளர்நிலை 1 முதல் ஆண்டு 12 வரை தமிழ்ப் பரீட்சையில், ஐக்கிய இராச்சியம் ரீதியாக அதி சித்தி பெற்ற மாணாக்கர்களைக் கொவென்றிக்கு அழைத்து வாகை சூட்டிக் கௌரவித்து இருந்தார்கள். அது மட்டுமல்லாமல் தமிழரின் விழுமியங்களை மேடையேற்றி இருந்ததுடன், தமிழர்கள் எவ்வாறு எமது அடையாளங்களைக் காக்க வேண்டும் என்ற விழிப்புணர்வைப் பெற்றோர்களுக்கும், மாணவர்களுக்கும் தந்து இருந்தார்கள். எமது மகன் விதுரனும் வளர்நிலை 1 இல் நாடு தழுவிய ரீதியில் முதலாம் இடம் பெற்றிருந்தமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. வீடு திரும்புகையில் அவர் ஒருவித புத்துணர்ச்சியுடன் காணப்பட்டார். ஹாட்ஸ் தமிழ்ப் பாடசாலையின் ஆசிரிய குழாமுக்கும், நிர்வாகத்தினருக்கும் நன்றி கூறக் கடமைப்பட்டு இருக்கின்றோம். ITEC இணையத்தினதும், ஹாட்ஸ் தமிழ்ப் பாடசாலையினதும் சேவைகள் தொடர வாழ்த்துகள்.

2019 has been another year of excellent performance and learning from Herts Tamil School academic team of students and their teachers.
